Sometimes crazy ideas DO work

Our rain gutters are 20 years old and some of them were starting to pull away from the house. I got out my ladder and hammer, but the ladder ended up way too short:



So I lashed my hammer to the end of my tree trimmer:



Then I pounded in the nails using my crazy contraption. It actually worked:
