Labor Day

We LOVE living in California so that we can trek down to San Diego now and then to visit our nearest relatives. We crashed the Bird family neighborhood party, gained 5 pounds tasting Aunt M's delicious frozen yogurt, and went to Sea World. Much fun was had. And I told Abraham that I wouldn't tell this story to anyone- but I just can NOT help it. And you won't tell him will you?

Abraham got a new shirt at Old Navy and decided to break it in at Sea World. Abraham was trying to convince the kids to touch the Bat Rays when Aunt M noticed that was something a little fishy about that shirt that he was wearing. She asked him, "Abraham, what does your shirt say?"

"It says Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," he said, following the words with his finger as he said them.

"Are you sure?" says Aunt M.

He was so mortified that he tried to scratch the "R" off of his shirt for the rest of the time we were there and he kept crossing his arms over his chest hoping that no one would notice. When we got back to Aunt M's house- he ran straight upstairs and changed his shirt.

What a funny story.. I'm sure I would have read it the same way Abe did. Remember the swimming suit? He has such bad luck.

Maybe we could get him to wear his swimming suit and shirt at the same time. I love you Abe - Travs
